Gift Giving at the Canberra Hospital!

On Thursday the 11th of December, the Tom Efkarpidis Foundation generously donated Christmas gifts to children undergoing treatment at The Canberra Hospital.

Supported by Canberra United, Canberra’s premier women’s soccer team, players presented gifts to children on behalf of the Tom Efkarpidis Foundation which included a collection of sports balls, scrapbooks, colouring pencils, dolls and a variety of other children’s toys.

The Tom Efkarpidis Foundation acknowledges that a portion of the Canberra Community will not be spending Christmas at home with their families, instead receiving treatment at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children. In its 4th year of support, the Tom Efkarpidis Foundation aims to brighten the lives of all children within the Canberra Hospital through the donation of gifts, as well as the chance to meet and interact with the energetic and bubbly faces of the Canberra United soccer team.

The initiative is particularly rewarding for all parties involved, leaving a smile on the faces of those children in need of a little Christmas cheer over the festive season.

The Tom Efkarpidis Foundation will continue to support the Canberra Hospital Foundation, and looks forward to another successful and heart-warming visit in 2015.

The Tom Efkarpidis Foundation is an extension of the Rock Development Group and shows a commitment to the wider community. As a tribute to the founder of the business, father and constant inspiration, the foundation is a prescribed private-fund that is dedicated to helping children with illnesses and not-for-profit organisations that assist youth in need within the Canberra community.
